Final Presentations 11/12/14

Today in class the last of the people in our class presented their projects. Thank God its over lol. It was so long and people wrote so many words on the one slide that were kind of pointless. Anyways not all of it was pointless. You just had to find the important parts and write it down. Also we have Mr.Schick's Google slides presentation that he got from our notes and some of his knowledge. Anyways, again, i will jot down the notes i took today from the presentations!

• Russia
• Dmitry Medvedev is the prime minister but was the 3rd president (2008-2012) when Putin was the prime minister.
• Medvedev is Putin's lap dog.
• Bicameral=two houses
• The main political party is called United Russia.
• Countries are afraid to attack Russia because of Russia's nuclear weapons and aggressive military.
• Brazil
• Federal republic
• You can be elected 2 times but you need a four year break.
• Military Junta- Military dictatorship. She protested and got tortured in jail for 3 years.
• People are happy with Dilma Rouseff in control.
• Mexico
• Nieto is part of the Institutional Revolutionary party.
• Mexican drug cartel makes 19-29 billion dollars.
• Kills over 100,000 people.
